Before Dresser was recorded there we a few Anna fronted songs written from that era that Insouciant had been playing regularly at practices and live shows. At some point Anna decided those songs weren't translating into a rock band the way she would like so opted to keep them for Lost Wax another more acoustic project. Heatseeker is one of those songs that was played a lot but never properly recorded before it was retired. This is the only known recording of this song.
