about

Recorded live (on Raul's "million dollar recorder") at the birthday show/party of Liz Sandoval. Feu opened the show and ended their set with this track. This song was the first written after Protostar and was the beginnings of what was supposed to be a monster concept album. Three other songs were completed but only "Vampirism" was documented (also included on this compilation) the third was a song about werewolves and the forth (the song that essentially killed the band) was about a centaur. Sadly the last two have been lost to the ages as they were never recorded in any form. Although the recording of this track is crude it is a nice representation of Feu De Joie's intense live show and their intricate songwriting. The ending of this song eventually changed a little bit (as is documented on their WFMU live set) but this track is a better overall performance.
